Nationality and documentation
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and hold valid passport or citizenship documentation. Applicants with a citizenship history connected to China should request an individual review of the additional nationality and residence evidence required.
Age and qualification
The 2026 guide specifies age 18. Undergraduate applicants should hold a high-school diploma or above with good grades. The guide does not publish a universal HBU percentage cutoff for Clinical Medicine; country-specific requirements must also be considered.
Clinical Medicine language requirement
The program is Chinese-taught. HSK 4 must be passed before entering major study. The general Chinese-taught threshold is HSK 4 with at least 180 points. English language qualifications do not replace the Chinese requirement for this program.
CSCA for undergraduate applicants
Clinical Medicine lists STEM, Mathematics, Chemistry as CSCA subjects. Prepare the required test results as part of the application. A checklist of documents does not replace the academic review.
Conduct, health and supporting evidence
Applicants must respect Chinese laws and university rules. The document list includes a physical examination record, non-criminal record certificate, financial guarantee and guardian’s guarantee. Keep original records ready for registration.
Pakistani applicants
FSc eligibility and PM&DC student registration should be checked separately from the university review. The 5 October 2026 PM&DC notice removes the mandatory MDCAT prerequisite for admission to foreign medical and dental institutions; it does not guarantee university admission or a future licence.
Check your preparation
A preliminary check of the published criteria. The university assesses grades and documents individually.
