Academic preparation
Pakistani applicants should review FSc or equivalent eligibility and the university’s own academic and language requirements. PM&DC’s foreign-study criteria include at least 60% in FSc Pre-Medical or equivalent; HBU’s academic review is a separate decision.
MDCAT update — 5 October 2026
Pakistani students seeking admission to foreign medical and dental institutions are exempt from the mandatory MDCAT admission prerequisite. Academic eligibility, student registration, institution checks and later licensing requirements remain separate matters.
Student registration and institution checks
Complete the applicable PM&DC student registration process and verify the institution and program against current regulatory criteria. A university directory entry, medical-program accreditation and licensing eligibility do not mean the same thing.
HBU program language
The 2026 undergraduate Clinical Medicine program is Chinese-taught, with a 6-year duration and HSK 4 before major study. CSCA subjects are STEM, Mathematics, Chemistry. Plan language preparation alongside your academic documents.
Documents and travel preparation
Prepare your passport, academic records, medical examination, non-criminal certificate and financial support evidence. Visa documentation and registration instructions should be checked after admission. Do not book non-refundable travel before the appropriate documents are in place.
After graduation
Future medical registration depends on the rules applicable when you apply to practise. Retain your course records, internship evidence and qualification documents. No admissions service can guarantee the outcome of a regulator’s licensing decision.
MDCAT prerequisite exemption
